For REAL!! Actual Cotton Rag Paper for under $5! ! I am not sure it’s really 100% but it is absolutely 50% cotton rag and that’s enough for me to thoroughly enjoy this sketchbook! This particular one is Hot Press so to be fair I am not real familiar with hot press so it very well could be 100% cotton, it certainly paints like it is ! It layers and build vivid color and does not at all pull up or buckle when painting a wet wash of color for a background or sky it’s perfect for my pocket plein air sketching kit !!!

It took a little longer than expected to arrive (he did it individually from other notebooks of the same type that I ordered, but the quality is good for the price, the notebook is made of hard paste with a fabric cover and an elastic to keep the notebook closed.
