I’ve been using them for watercolor. These are great starter brushes. I’m happy I got them, because I was able to try out many types of brushes for a low cost and decent quality, The tips are very pointed and are able to paint fine lines or points well. They also hold an appropriate amount of water. They shed a lot though. If I get more brushes in different sizes, I will look elsewhere
