Paint Brush Maintenance:
1. You do have to get them in water quickly after use or they stiffen up. Be sure to never leave them in water and dry them well.
2. Cleaning: Water based paint-warm soapy water, oil/solvent based paints-petroleum essence.
3. Drying / Storage: Flatwise or head upward.
4.At the beginning of using a new pen, it’s very normal to lose a few hairs slightly. It’s not a quality problem. Please don’t worry.

These brushes are only good for play but are worth the low ~US$3 price. These brushes are definitely not very high quality, in part because the hairs are just not arranged right. However, your child can now have a set of round brushes which resemble your professional brushes and which do load paint significantly better than nylon brushes do.
